Moonshine Mama’s Elixirs + Tonics

SFCC worked with us both remotely and on site to design and implement a Preventive Control Plan to bring our company into Safe Food for Canadians Regulations compliance and obtain our CFIA SFC license. We were extremely impressed with Rob’s passion for Food Safety organization, thoroughness, and ongoing support through the application process.

Rob also provided FOODSAFE training for our staff. He is very engaging as an instructor and was able to tailor the training to our specific food production business. All our staff scored very highly on their exams.

It is without hesitation that I recommend Dr. Rob Marshall and Safe Food Compliance Canada as a cost-effective and thorough resource for bringing your business into compliance with the SFCR. Rob worked closely with our management team to develop a comprehensive preventive control plan, monitoring and verification protocols, as well mock recalls and strengthening our traceability processes. Our company is now a leader in regulatory compliance in Canada with respect to live and fresh seafood trade.

Probiotic Solutions

“SFCC, using its HACCP software system, helped us to identify and eliminate bacterial contamination points in both our fermentation and water treatment/delivery systems.  On the spot, they generated ‘Critical Control Point’ monitoring procedures and documents that were implemented right away and got our production back on track.”

Dock +

The Dock+ Food Hub is a multifaceted operation consisting of independent food processors, a commercial kitchen and a cold storage facility. Prior to commencing operations, the building needed extensive renovations and a comprehensive ‘Preventive Control Plan’ that could manage the risks associated with diverse operations.  SFCC was there every step of the way, working with contractors and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), to ensure all structural components and written procedures met government standards.   Thanks to SFCC, our CFIA registration was acquired quickly and efficiently.

Pacific Prawn Fishermen’s Association

Upon the announcement of new Safe Food for Canadians regulations impacting frozen seafood exports, the Pacific Prawn Fishermen's Association contracted the services SFCC Compliance Canada Ltd. Rob was very knowledgeable and worked with industry and processors to generate a suite of documents to satisfy the government regulations, while ensuring they were accessible and understood by the diverse groups of fishermen that would be using them. SFCC Ltd. created the documents on time and on budget, much to the satisfaction of industry.

We have used Rob Marshall (SFCC) as a contractor to establish a PCP for our new business.  Rob was super effective and he has an excellent grasp of our business and the requirements of CFIA.

Rob has worked with us to write, implement and train us to make the written PCP as close to reality as possible.  We only had to make a few minor changes after every CFIA audit.  I highly recommend Rob as a technical expert and he has an excellent grasp of the needs of industry and his clients and how to translate that in a document that meets the requirements of CFIA.

Rob is diligent in his research, thoughtful, professional and very easy to work with.  Our industry was faced with a very challenging situation due to new government regulations.  Rob meticulously researched working with industry and the PPFA to create a benchmark PCP plan and was adaptable to the spot prawn fishing fleet. It truly was a job well done!
